As ever, the government of Ghana resolves to providing a conducive atmosphere for new business development. With the establishment of the Ministry of Business Development and the launch of the National Entrepreneurship & Innovation Plan, the government of Ghana has shown its commitment to provide support to local and international entrepreneurs who see Ghana as a suitable destination to develop and launch a small scale or large scale enterprise.

A number of incubators, accelerator programs, grants and competitions exist in Ghana to provide targeted support for entrepreneurs and new businesses. Some of these programs include the GBT, NBC and Making Africa Work programs. Furthermore, the RVO (Netherlands Enterprise Agency) provide funding opportunities for Dutch Nationals considering setting up a business in emerging economies like Ghana.
