Ghana Observes National Day

Mar 5- 2021

On the auspicious occasion of the 64th Anniversary of the Independence of Ghana, which falls on 6'th March, 2021, the Embassy of Ghana in The Hague extends its felicitations to all Ghanaians and friends of Ghana. This year’s national day of Ghana is observed under the extraordinary times of the global pandemic of Covid-19.

The Embassy extends solidarity with the international community as nations and organisations are working individually and collectively to defeat the pandemic. We convey our deepest sympathies to all those who have lost their loved ones through the pandemic. Our thoughts are with those who may be battling the virus, we wish them a speedy recovery.  We urge all of us to continue to observe the public health protocols so that we may stay healthy and safe.

The experiences of the global pandemic have underscored the need to accelerate our national developmental efforts and also strengthen international cooperation and become resilient to withstand future crises. Accordingly, the government of Ghana led by H.E. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is poised to build on its recent achievements and take our nation firmly on the path of progress, prosperity and development.

The Embassy of Ghana looks forward to continuous collaboration with all friends of Ghana, State institutions and non-state actors within the international community for our mutual benefits and prosperous future.

Long live Ghana.
